What is a Stocks & Shares ISA?
An ISA, or Individual Savings Account is a tax-efficient way of investing your money. You can contribute the maximum ISA allowance (currently £20,000) each tax year* and any returns or interest that you earn will be free of UK tax. A Stocks & Shares ISA allows you to use your tax-free allowance to invest in funds. Learn more.
*The current tax year runs from 6 April 2023 to 5 April 2024.
Tax rules for ISAs can change and their benefits depend on your circumstances.
Make a positive impact
Invest in funds that only include companies actively making the world a better place. Funds are built around the most innovative themes defining the future of the global economy.
Grow your money long-term
Stocks & Shares ISAs are often used when savings goals are mid to long-term. Generally, they should deliver better value than cash savings, but remember that all investments can go up as well as down.
Contribute up to £20,000
Invest up to £20,000 every year tax-free. Pay nothing on any gains you make. The deadline for this tax year is midnight on the 4th of April.
We are specialists in impact investing — the gold standard of investing sustainably.
The funds that you will be invested in only include companies that have made it their mission to solve the world's biggest environmental and social challenges.
We want to change the world, but this isn't philanthropy. You will only invest in sectors and companies that we believe will benefit from structural market trends.
People made money ruining the world, let’s make money fixing it.

The returns case for impact investing
Over the past few years, impact indices have outperformed the wider market.
We invest in themes and companies that we believe will benefit from structural market trends, such as the energy transition to renewables.
*The purpose of the chart is to illustrate the case for impact investing, and is not CIRCA5000’s portfolio returns. The chart above shows the annualised returns of the MSCI ACWI Index ("Standard Index") compared with the MSCI ACWI Sustainable Impact Index ("Sustainable Impact Index") for the 5 year period up to 19th January 2023. Returns are in USD and net of dividends. Past performance is no indication or guarantee of future performance. Investing directly in either index shown is not possible via CIRCA5000. When investing in funds, other factors such as fees and currency exposures may affect your return. Source: msci.com

I opened my ISA in January 2020..
This was my first experience of any online investment, and I am so pleased to have chosen Tickr (now CIRCA5000) as their website is informative and easy to use. Also I have been happy with the return on my investment over the long term, and am now drawing on that investment to help me set up for my early retirement.

Easy to use and decent returns
Easy to use app, decent returns, and a much better use of my savings than most other options. I started cautiously a few years ago and built up steadily, and am delighted with the result so far!
