“Who cares if Miami is underwater?”

By CIRCA5000 TeamBack to Mission Control

“Who cares if Miami is underwater?”

Probably the 226,000,000 people in the 36 world cities that are going to be underwater by 2050. Someone should tell that to suspended HSBC senior executive Stuart Kirk.

Kirk seemed to rubbish Miami’s fate in a now infamous presentation in which he compared the climate crisis to the Y2K bug and called discussions of extreme climate impacts "hyperbole”.

Hyperbole? The climate crisis isn’t a joke, Stuart. It’s very real and it’s happening right now.

At CIRCA5000, we’re doing something about it. We only offer portfolios that are good for the planet and its people. From energy and water, to food, health, and education, our investors can be sure their money is going towards keeping the future safe, prosperous, and most of all, human.
